Adding a little color
Over the years I’ve had so many different types of clients. Some are very structured and “get down to business.” Some are more timid about asking for what they want so we move through the process slowly. Then there are some that along the way inspire you. Those are the clients that turn into friends. Recently I started a relationship with a client whose business had been successful with nothing more than a handshake and a smile (which is the way it should be) but she was ready to take it to the next level. On the phone, when she suggested we meet so that I could fully understand what Fiber Art meant, it turned out she was right. There is no way to describe it unless you see it. What happened over the next couple of months can only be described as mutually beneficial. I was able to work with her to bring her into the 21st century of business and in turn her art, and more importantly her spirit, ignited my creative spirit to learn new things and go even further with my own business. That is what I love about this job. On any given day you might meet someone that needs a logo or a website and the next thing you know your life has become a little more colorful.
If you have a moment, check out her work (www.creatinggayle.com). The definition Fiber Art will take on an entirely new meaning.
